The IMDS offers the best of both worlds by utilizing the high degree of particle capture provided by a dual media filter in combination with the chemical ion-exchange properties of an industrial softener.
The IMDS system has been engineered specifically to protect your boiler feed water and cooling towers, and it will prevent scale and remove silt from your system.

The 2-Stage Process:
- Remove solids/dust/organic material by using sand and anthracite layers as dual media.
- The second stage consists of using a cation resin to swap out the calcium & magnesium ions for sodium ions; which will give you zero hardness water.
